Bug Tracking Tools of 2024
Backlog
Brief
Backlog is a term often used in project management and business processes to represent tasks or activities that need to be completed. In most cases, these are tasks that have been allocated or assigned but have not yet been completed or started. In software development, specifically Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, a backlog is a list of features, bug fixes, technical work, and other activities that need to be done.
JIRA
Brief
The platform allows teams to capture, prioritize, and assign tasks to individual members, and to track the progress of these tasks from start to finish. Each task, or "issue", in JIRA can be categorized into different types, such as bugs, features, tasks, or subtasks, depending on the team's needs.
